The 5 Day Deep Point Of View Challenge focuses on digging deep into deep point of view. Want to add emotional depth to your fiction? Want readers to really care about your characters? Want readers to feel like they’re IN the story as it’s happening? Learn Deep Point Of View
Next Session: May 20-25, 2019
How The Group Works
This 5 day challenge is a quick look into various aspects of deep point of view that aren’t typically covered by blog posts or many books. This class offers 5 video lessons with a daily homework assignment. You will get personalized feedback on your homework within 24hours so you’ll know how to improve right away.
The information covered varies each time the challenge runs so many people stay in the group and redo the 5 day challenge over and over. Group members are free to remain in the group, chat, discuss, share between challenges or leave at the end of each challenge.
Here’s The Catch!! The free content disappears at the end of the 5 days each time. You can get feedback on your homework, but only for the 5 days of the challenge.
What Is Deep Point Of View?
Deep POV is a writing technique, a strategy, that aims to remove the distance between readers and characters, so readers feel like they’re IN THE STORY, in real time, and taking an emotional journey with the main character.
Who Is This Group For?
-Fiction writers in any genre
-Creative non-fiction writers
-Writers looking to create emotional connections with readers or have readers feel like they’re IN the story
-Writers looking to learn deep pov to use throughout an entire novel or just to add punch and emotions to key scenes and characters
Who Is This Group NOT For?
-Those who don’t have a good grasp of plot and conflict (and if you had to Google either of those things, you’re not ready yet)
-Those who are unwilling (or unable – no judging) to dive into their own emotions to give emotional authenticity to their characters
-Those who don’t have a WIP (a work in progress) at a stage they can use for the homework
-Those looking for a quick path to riches
-Those looking for a quick or gauranteed path to winning the author lotto
-No sassy-pants or drama llamas!! If you are only looking for someone to praise your brillance – not for you. If you think every critique/editor/agent EVER just doesn’t get what you’re trying to accomplish – not for you. The critiques offered here are honest and fair, polite discussion is welcome, but my job is not to shore up your ego!
You don’t have to give up your email address. This group is completely free – no catches! Check it out! Here’s the link again:
